1. The developing unit drive motor (M3)
drives the following parts via the gear
unit at the back:
• Developing sleeve
• Agitator wheel
• Agitator screws
2. Flow of developer
The developer inside the developing unit is sup-
plied to the developing sleeve by the agitator
wheel, and maintained at a constant thickness by
the developing regulation plate (bristle height
regulation plate). The developer remaining on
the developing sleeve is returned to the agitator
screws.
