Installing the USB Device Driver for Windows 2000

Switch on your computer and start Windows 2000.

Switch on the printer. Do not yet connect the USB cable.

Check that Windows 2000 has finished loading and that the printer is
ready.

Insert the Software and Documentation CD-ROM supplied with your
printer into your computer’s CD-ROM drive.

When the CD-ROM installation screen appears, close it.

Connect the printer to the computer
with the USB cable.

The Found New Hardware Wizard dialogue will display.
