3.8 Installing the printer driver under Windows 2000
For a simple way of installing the printer driver, we recommend using the
Auto Run installer. (See “Installing the printer driver using the installer (Au-
to Run) under Windows” on page 3-15.)
However, there are other ways of installing the printer driver without using
the installer. This section provides information on installing the PagePro
1250E printer driver under Windows 2000.

Installing the PostScript printer driver
The PostScript printer driver can be installed under Windows only by
usingtheAddPrinterWizard.
To install the printer driver using Plug-and-Play
For a parallel connection:

After connecting the printer to your PC, turn on the printer.
2 Turn on the PC.
After Windows starts, the Found New Hardware Wizard dialog box
displays.
