Clearing a media jam at Tray 1

Remove the tray cover and any me-
diainTray1.
2 Carefully pull the misfed media out
of Tray 1.

Reload the media in Tray 1, and replace the tray cover.
❍ Do not reload curled or wrinkled media.
4 Reinstall Tray 1 in the printer.

Close the face-down tray, and then open the top cover.

Remove any pieces of media that may have torn off or are remaining
in the printer.

Close the top cover, and then open the face-down tray.
8 Open the top cover and close it again in order to reset the printer.
❍ Printing automatically restarts from the page that was misfed.
