Press the top cover release button
and open the top cover.

Facing the right side of the printer,
use a Phillips screwdriver to remove
the two screws holding the side cov-
er in place.
5 Remove the side cover by pulling it
toward you.

Insert the DIMM in the slot.
❍ Press the DIMM carefully into
the socket until it snaps into
place.

Would you like to remove a
DIMM?
To remove a DIMM, press the tabs
on both sides of the installation slot
outwards. This releases the DIMM
and allows you to remove it.
