For easier network installation of the magicolor 7300 and
any other MINOLTA-QMS printer on the network, the
Print Monitors include an Auto Discovery function. With a
quick click of a button, the Crown Print Monitors search
for all MINOLTA-QMS printers on the network, then list
each by IP address or DNS host name in the printer driver
dialog box. This allows users to instantly view and select
from all available printers.
S TATUS M ONITOR (WINDOWS ONLY)
The Status Monitor is a utility that communicates printer
status and consumable levels to Windows users over
TCP/IP. On the Status tab of the utility, it replicates infor-
mation as shown on the printer’s LCD to convey the cur-
rent printer standing, offering error and recovery instruc-
tions and video help for troubleshooting purposes.
In reporting supplies status, the utility offers easy-to-read
gas-gauge displays for conveying consumable levels. Users
simply select the Consumable tab to verify remaining levels
before they click print. The utility even has a quick link to
order more supplies online if inventory is low.
Color coding is used in both the Status and Consumables
settings to better communicate information.

M ANAGER (WINDOWS ONLY)
In order to port and delete fonts, forms, overlays, color
profiles, and other files to the magicolor 7300’s optional
hard disk, MINOLTA-QMS offers a Download Manager
utility. Selectable as a separate utility or accessible from
the PostScript Windows driver, the Download Manager
communicates via an easy-to-understand dialog box com-
plete with an online Help option.
