Safety Notes
Make sure that you pay attention to the safety notes in
the instructions for your operating system.

Functions
For operation with conventional DC locomotive control-
lers, Trix Selectrix (SX1, SX2), or digital systems adhering
to the NMRA standards (DCC).
No automatic system recognition of the digital systems.
When operating in a digital system for the rst time (SX1,
SX2, or DCC), the decoder must be set to this digital sys-
tem. To do this, the decoder must be programmed once in
this digital system.
Different control variants for optimal adaptation to the motor.
127 speed levels internally.
Block route operation with simple diodes in Selectrix
operation.
Light and function outputs that can be activated for
dimming and analog operation.
Overload protection for the motor, light, and auxiliary
functions.
Electronic ability to swap connections.
Interface connection adheres to mTc14 standard.
Operation on AC layouts with pulse voltage reversing is
not possible!

Decoder Installation
It is important to make sure that the locomotive is in perfect
condition electrically and mechanically before installing the
decoder. Defects or dirt must be corrected before installa-
tion. Attention must be paid to the specications from the
manufacturer of the locomotive. Make sure that no short
circuits can occur during operation of the locomotive.
We cannot cover any warranty claims for damages caused
by improper workmanship in the installation of the decoder.
Locomotives / Powered Units with the
mTc14 Interface Connector
Remove the plug-in circuit board built into
the locomotive.
Plug the decoder into the interface connector. No connec-
tions to other wires or conductors may be allowed to occur!
Install the decoder into the connector with the connection
for the traces below.
