16. Safety
The device must only be opened by an authorized Minicom technician. Disconnect
device from AC mains before service operation!

Below is a summary of the tips found throughout this guide.
For an extender application:
· Set serial control to be at the remote position
· Set switching control to be by timeout
· Set the video display to appear at both positions
For a dual control application:
· When the video is set to display at the current active position, set switching
control to be by hotkey
