AVERAGE SPEED SPEED LIMIT
You can select a display of the vehicle's
average speed. The average speed is
calculated for the time during which the
engine is running.
To start calculation of the average speed,
with the ignition key in position 1 or
higher:
1. Select "Avg. speed"
2. Select "Recalculate".
The display is set to zero and the system
begins recalculating the average speed.
Assume thatyou do not want to exceed
50 mph (80 km/h) on a stretch of freeway
and would like to be alerted when you
reach this speed (limit).
Setting the speed limit
1. Select "Limit"
2. Select
3. Turn the rotary knob until the required
speed appears in the display
4. Press the rotary button to store this
value
5. Select .
The corresponding selection box is high-
lighted
6. Select .
