American Frank Christensen designed this aircraft as
an unlimited-class aerobat that pilots could build at
home. It was an immediate hit - and this ARTF promises
to be just as popular. Designed to deliver the same
adrenaline-charged aerobatics as the original, as well
as the amazing assembly ease Great Planes is famous
for!

The full-size Shoestring’s simplicity
made it a favourite with builders...
and its manoeuvrability and speed
appealed to trophy-hunting pilots. Those
same qualities make this model stand
out, offering easy assembly, exciting
aerobatics, and a distinctive look at the
flight line. The lines of the original Shoestring
are captured with lightweight fibreglass parts,
including the cowl, wheel spats and fuselage –
whose corrugations suggest the fabric covering
of the classic Golden Age racer. Wide sport
flying envelope, from gentle to “racer” fast and
responsive.
