Winner of several world aerobatic championships, the
Yak-55 underwent several design changes in 1989 - most
notably a shorter, more tapered wing - which resulted in the
Yak-55M. Great Planes have captured the unique look of
the Yak-55M in a 50” wingspan model that flies like a much
larger plane. The Yak-55M
executes aerobatic and
pattern manoeuvres with
extraordinary precision.
With its bolt-together assembly, the Escapade .61 ARTF
is so easy to assemble - and so enjoyable and affordable,
you’ll want to fly it at every chance you get! You have a
variety of options for powering it, and the larger dimensions
add stability and visibility to your sport manoeuvres. With a
.61 two-stroke you have a great second plane for low-wing
aerobatics. Fit a .91 for superb vertical performance, or go
with a brushless outrunner motor for clean, quiet power.

warbird excitement. Its
two-piece, balsa-sheeted
foam wing has been covered in
MonoKote film, while the detailed cockpit
includes an instrument panel, headrest and
