The most famous German fighter of WWII was
certainly the Messerschmitt Bf-109, and in the
early years of the war the ‘E’ version with it’s
characteristic stubby nose. Like the Spitfire,
the Bf-109 was in production throughout the
war and was extensively developed.
Just a quick look at the shape and the detail will
tell you that Black Horse have pulled out all
the stops on this one. The outline
is a scale as possible and
details like air inlets
and the cockpit/pilot
set this 109 apart from
others on the market.
The Laser cut balsa and ply parts have been lovingly assembled at the factory in
multiple jigs by highly skilled workers.

There is no mistaking where the styling came from for this
one! The full size Silence Twister was designed in Germany
as kit aircraft to offer a cheap light aircraft that has the basic
planform of the most famous fighter of them all, the Spitfire.
The original has retracts yet only a tiny 80Hp engine. The
sleek design is where the performance comes from.
Black Horse chose to model the Silence
Twister in order to offer a modern styled
aircraft that has both character and
performance, yet is a little different
to most models on the market
today.
The Silence Twister is factory
constructed from Laser cut parts
clad in balsa and then stunningly
finished in durable Oracover film in a scale
scheme. The cowl and spats are moulded
from GRP with other mouldings formed
in ABS before painting. The model has
fixed undercarriage rather than the
retracts of the original making her
practical for club use.
Bolt on a 15cc petrol engine,
install the radio of your choice
and she is ready to go!
