Tone ID Prole
Range: 1, 2 FE/CO, 4 FE/CO, 35 FE, 50 CO or Combined
The Tone ID menu allows you to dene how the tone of the audio varies when
dierent target characteristics are detected. This is very useful for identifying targets
close to each other.
Open the Tone ID Menu
1. From the Mode Settings menu, use the arrow down button to highlight the Tone ID
Prole option and press Select.
The current Tone ID Prole will be displayed.
2. Press Select again to display the Tone ID Prole menu with the following options:
Prole Type
Resize
Change Pitch
Play Tone
Play All
Exit
Prole Type
Selection of the Prole Type dictates how many dierent tonal responses there are
while detecting. The available options are:
1 – all targets emit a single tone
2 CO – targets can be two tones depending on their Co reading
2 FE – targets can be two tones depending on their Fe reading
4 CO – targets can be four tones depending on their Co reading
4 FE – targets can be four tones depending on their FE reading
35 FE – targets can be 35 tones depending on their FE reading
50 – targets can be 50 tones depending on their CO reading
Combined – a combination of FE/CO tones
To change or select the Tone ID Prole Type:
1. From the Tone ID Prole menu, highlight and select the Prole Type.
2. Use the arrow buttons to highlight the Prole Type you require and press Select.
The selected Tone ID Prole will be displayed.
3. Press Select to conrm your choice and return to the Tone ID Prole menu.
4. Use the down arrow button to highlight Exit and press Select to return to the Mode
Settings menu.
