MST(Tag(Exciter(User(Guide( ( Any setting other than No Change results in the Tag's default chirp period (time between transmissions when not in range of an Exciter field) being changed. Change for Duration setting will temporarily modify the default chirp time of Tags when outside Exciter range. This setting can be used to have tags chirp faster or slower after passing a point to allow for better tracking accuracy or better battery life respectively.
