2. Press downward while angling the top arm of the plug into the shallow circular recess.

NOTE: The cleaning plug should remain in place during cleaning.
Removing the Cleaning Plug
• Remove the cleaning plug by pulling the tip of the top arm from the recess in the SpO
2
module.

Finger Clip Sensor
Clean the sensor with a soft cloth dampened with a mild detergent or isopropyl alcohol.
Ensure that all tape residue is removed. To ensure proper functioning of the finger clip
sensor, do not:
• pour or spray any liquid on the sensor
• immerse in liquid
• use abrasive cleaning materials to clean
