Setting level of the paper width sensor
To detect media width including transparent film, change the sensitivity of the sensor.

When <LOCAL> is displayed, press the
key.

Select the [MACHINE SETUP] with the
key, and press the
key.

Select the [MEDIA DETECT LV] with the
key, and press the
key.

Select [NORMAL] or [FINE] with the
key, and press the key.
• NORMAL : Normal sensitivity
FINE : Raises the sensitivity of the sensor.

Press the key to finish.
• Even if FINE is set on the sensor level, a wide space between the paper width sensor and the
media can reduce in sensitivity of the sensor and interrupt detection of the media.
