Ink stations
As viewed from the front of the printer, the ink station on the right side is called the “F-row ink
station” and the ink station on the left side is called the “R-row ink station.”
• In each ink station, set eight ink cartridges containing ink of the same type.
The setting position of each color ink cartridge differs according to the ink
type. Before setting a new ink cartridge of different ink type or color, be sure
to wash the ink line and print head. (See to page 4-26)
F-row ink station
Capable of housing eight ink
cartridges, this ink station
supplies ink to the front row (F-
row) of the capping station.
R-row ink station
Capable of housing eight ink
cartridges, this ink station
supplies ink to the rear row (R-
row) of the capping station.
