Warning message Cause Corrective measure
The set ink cartridge is not a
genuine product.
Cleaning period of the ink on
the wiper shaft of the capping
station.
Head ID has not been registered.
Time to replace the battery
Clamp lever set down without
media.
For roll, it means the media is
over.
The front cover or the mainte-
nance cover is opened.
Temperature is below operable
condition.
The clamp lever is at high posi-
tion. Printing and JOG operation
cannot be executed.
The movement of the center-
ing device reaches the limit.
The cloth is not took up
normally.
The message remains
displayed until you push the
[REMOTE] key. Use a
genuine ink cartridge.
Perform the carriage-out func-
tion of the station maintenance
(pages 4.8) to clean the wiper
shaft of the capping station.
Turn off the power to the printer
and turn it on after a while. If
the same error message ap-
pears again on the LCD, con-
tact your local distributor to call
for service.
Contact your local distributor to
call for service.
Set upward the clamp lever.
Load the new media.
Close the front cover or the
maintenance cover.
Adjust environmental tempera-
ture.
Lower the clamp lever.
Raise the clamp lever and
then move the centering
device using the centering
switch. To forcibly move it,
press the [REMOTE] key.
Check the condition of the
take-up device.
