Preventing the fabric skew [CENTERING]
This function of centering prevent the media skew. Set this function when using the roll media
those left or right edge are not lined up. A sensor monitors the media right edge position and
move the roll media to prevent printing run off the edge.
The roll media largely miss lined-up causes wrinkle, therefore avoid using the roll media
which edge miss lined-up width is ± 20mm. To use the miss lined-up roll media, be sure to re-
roll up by hand to align.
ON : Enable the centering function.
OFF : Does not enable the centering.
• Operates according to centering sensor.
• In case Leaf is selected for the fabric used, the feeding unit is not enabled.
STEPS:
1. Select a type. (See page 3.3)
Here, select [Type.1].
2. Press the [ENTER] key.
3. Press the JOG keys [
] and [ ] to select [CEN-
TERING].
4. Press the [ENTER] key.
5. Press the JOG keys [
] and [ ] to select [ON] or
[OFF] of the [CENTERING].
Here, select [ON].
6. Press the [ENTER] key.
7. Press the [END] key twice.
The menu returns to the LOCAL mode.
