9 With switches of the left back on the heavy-duty feeding device, adjust the tension-
bar position until it becomes parallel to the floor.
1.Set the right switch to take-up direction of the media, and turn the left switch to MANUAL. (Tension-bar
lifts, feeding the media.)
If media is feeded and the tension-bar is not lifted up, turn the right switch to the oher side.
2.When tension-bar arm becomes parallel to the floor, turn the left switch to AUTO to stop tension-bar.
3.Turn the right switch to the feeding direction of the media.
10At the front of the printer, hold the both ends of the media with the media press
lightly, not to be lifted the media.
 Do not push the media press to the end. Set lightly.
 When using a thick media, remove the media press from the media before
printing.
