Functions related to the cutter
When the media is to be cut at a desired position
Cut the media at any desired position without using the [AUTO CUT] function.
(Refer to “Cutting the media after completion of printing (p.3-59)” )
When [] key is allocated to direct cut key

Move the carriage and media using JOG keys so that the carriage
is located at the position where cutting is to be started.

The media is cut.

When [HEAD GAP] has been set to 4.1 mm or more, media cut-
ting cannot be performed.
When using heavy-duty take-up device, media can not be cut un-
less setting tension-bar to the lock position.
