4 Remove the screws from the right end of
the linear scale, and remove the linear
scale.
5 Remove the screw from the components
at the end (linear encoder), and replace
the linear scale.
6 Reattach by reversing the removal pro-
cedure.
7 Move both the media position and the
position without media down and carry
out a linear encoder test.
* If the media is too thin to read, use a media
within the specifications.
