Cleaning the station interior [Station]-[Carriage Out]
Move the carriage when cleaning the station interior and replacing the consumable parts.
• Do not move the carriage out of the capping station by hand.
Use the appropriate operation key to move the carriage.
STEPS:
1. Press the [ ] or [ ] keys to select [Station].
2. Press the [ENTER] key.
3. Press the [ENTER] key.
4. Open the station cover, then perform the fol-
lowing maintenance works for the station
interior.
1. Cleaning the ink caps. ( page 3.6)
2. Cleaning the wiper. ( page 3.6)
3. Cleaning the ink at the bottom of the carriage. ( page 3.3)
4. Replacing the flushing tray ink absorber. ( page 3.12)
5. Changing the wiper. ( page 5.9)
When the message [Replace Wiper] is displayed on the LCD, replace the wiper.
5. Close the station cover, then press the [EN-
TER] key.
6. The machine enters the LOCAL mode.
