MIG TIG Stick
It’s a total breakthrough from HTP – a great, power
source that’s actually three welders in one! You read
that right. Our MTS 160 – M for MIG, T for TIG and
S for Stick – is actually three powerful welders (MIG,
TIG, and Stick) in one, handy, portable unit.
This advanced inverter power source weighs in at only
39 lbs. and will run on a 20-amp 220-volt single-phase
outlet. Plus, its compact cabinet measures just
16 ½" long, 8 ¼" wide and 13 ¼" high, so you can take
this little powerhouse anywhere.
This MTS 160 is perfect for plant maintenance applica-
tions where multiple processes are required for various
repair situations. It’s also an excellent welder for the
home shop where physical space is an issue.
Imagine . . . with one, go-anywhere cabinet, you can
replace three different machines!
With a duty cycle of 40% @ 160 amps, this unique
machine works as hard as you do. It welds both solid
wires and flux-cored wires in the MIG mode. It TIG
welds steel, stainless steel and 4130 chrome moly tubing
in the DC touch start mode. And the smooth DC stick
welder features an adjustable hot start for easy arc
starting! The MTS 160 comes with a two year warranty.

Welcome to our 30th Anniversary catalog! It seems like just a couple of years ago when we opened our doors and
introduced our first clients to HTP welders. Here it is – 30 years later, with thousands of satisfied customers! I want

Our business has grown over the last 30 years, and we are happy to announce we have moved into our new facility
in Elk Grove Village, Illinois. Our new place has doubled our square footage, so we can keep more of the products

After supplying welders for over 30 years, the technical innovations continue to amaze me. Take our hottest new

Safety has always been my primary concern, and our new Striker Stealth CSV is the ultimate in welding helmet
