4-3. Duty Cycle And Overheating
Duty Cycle is percentage of 10
minutes that unit can cut at rated
load without overheating. Duty
cycle is based on an ambient tem-
perature of 104° F (40° C).
If unit overheats, output stops,
temperature status light
illuminates, and cooling fan runs.
Wait fifteen minutes for unit to cool
or temperature light to go off.
Reduce amperage or duty cycle
before cutting or gouging.
NOTICE Exceeding duty cycle
can damage unit and void warranty.
