Kit Installation
Launching iB-5209 Network Monitor
To launch iB-5209 Network Monitor and verify proper communication with the i-Bean network
nodes (see Figure 2-6):
1. Do one of the following to launch iB-5209 Network Monitor:
– Double-click on the desktop’s iB-5209 Network Monitor icon.
– From the Windows’ taskbar, select:
Start>All Programs>iB-5209>iB-5209 Network Monitor.
2. Verify that all network nodes are discovered and displayed by iB-5209 Network Monitor.

Once proper operation of the i-Bean network has been verified, proceed to Chapter 3,
“iB-5209 Network Monitor Operations” for an overview of the GUI and details on how to use it
to configure the operation of your i-Bean network.
