For this purpose, you can define a list of IP ranges which the surveillance system should recognize as coming from a local network. About IPv6 and IPv4 Your system supports IPv6 as well as IPv4. So does XProtect Smart Client. IPv6 is the latest version of the Internet Protocol (IP).

You can also create archives within each storage and start an archiving process to store data. Archiving is the automatic transfer of recordings from, for example, a camera's default database to another location. In this way, the amount of recordings that you can store is not limited to the size of the recording database.
