Licensing
A trial period of 30 days will be granted automatically when the software runs for the first time. The 30-day trial
period provides time to upgrade the Milestone Software License Code (SLC) to include the MIP-
PaxtonIntegrationLicense. The status of the license is shown in the overview of the Paxton Integration.

If license check fails when resources are added, a dialogue will appear with an error message stating that the trial
has ended. The background plug-in, reacting to the Map commands and Net2 events will ignore requests after the
end of the trial period and log an error message in the XProtect Event Server log.
