bit 7 bit 0
Legend:
R = Readable bit W = Writable bit U = Unimplemented bit, read as ‘0’
-n = Value at POR ‘1’ = Bit is set ‘0’ = Bit is cleared x = Bit is unknown
bit 7 IBF: Input Buffer Full Status bit
1 = All writable input buffer registers are full
0 = Some or all of the writable input buffer registers are empty
bit 6 IBOV: Input Buffer Overflow Status bit
1 = A write attempt to a full input byte register occurred (must be cleared in software)
0 = No overflow occurred
bit 5-4 Unimplemented: Read as ‘0’
bit 3-0 IB3F:IB0F: Input Buffer x Status Full bits
1 = Input buffer contains data that has not been read (reading buffer will clear this bit)
0 = Input buffer does not contain any unread data
