10.0. RTC module
The RTC (Real-Time Clock) module on the development system is used to keep the real time, provide information
on dates including correction for a leap year and months with less than 31 days. It can also serve as alarm, timer, for
automatic power-fail detection, to generate interrupt at pre-set time and square wave voltage signals. This module
has a battery backup and can operate even when the development system’s power supply is off. The RTC module
communicates with the microcontroller via I

C serial interface. In order to establish connection between them, it is
necessary to set switches 4, 5 and 6 on the DIP switch SW10 to the ON position.

Pins on the DS1307 circuit that are used for connection with the microcontroller are marked as follows:
OUT - Square wave/output driver
SCL - Serial clock input
SDA - Serial data input/output
