POWER SUPPLY
How to power the board?
To power the board with USB cable, jumper J5 should be placed in USB position
(Figure 2). After that, the USB cable can be plugged in, as shown on images 1 and 2.
The Hexiwear Workstation board is now ready to be powered ON by using the power
switch (SW1).
1. With USB cable
To power the board via the barrel connector, jumper J5 should be placed in EXT
position (Figure 3). After that, the power cable can be plugged in, as shown on images
3 and 4. The Hexiwear Workstation board is now ready to be powered ON by using the
power switch (SW1).
2. By using wall-adapter
To power the board via the screw terminal, jumper J5 should be placed in EXT position
(Figure 4). After that, the power cable can be fastened by the terminal screws,
as shown on images 5 and 6. The Hexiwear Workstation board is now ready to be
powered ON by using the power switch (SW1).
3. With laboratory power supply
The Hexiwear Workstation board features an
effi cient and clean power supply, which provides
stable voltage and current levels, necessary for
powering each part of the board.
POWER SUPPLY:
Via DC connector or screw
terminals (7V to 23V AC or 9V to
32V DC), or via USB cable (5V DC).
POWER CAPACITY:
Up to 500mA with USB, and up to
1.6mA with external power supply.
