INSTALLING or REPLACING THE BACK-UP BATTERY (if applicable)

The 12 Volt, 5.4 Amp hour battery (Model MMB100) provides power to the opener in the event of
power outage.
Loosen the 4 housing screws (no need to
completely remove them) and remove the housing.
From the front of the unit, remove old battery and
insert the new battery into the battery holder until it
snaps into place.
Replace housing and tighten screws.
Connect the operator power leads to the battery
terminals. Make sure the RED wire is connected
to the POSITIVE terminal and the BLACK wire is
connected to the NEGATIVE terminal.
KEEP BATTERIES OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. Swallowing batteries can lead to serious injury or
death. If you suspect someone has swallowed a battery, go to the hospital immediately. Do not induce
vomiting or eat or drink anything.
