Installation Check List
This operator conforms to CLASS I applications.
The installer verifies that:
____ WARNING SIGNS are securely installed, one on each side of the gate panel.
____ Non-contact sensors (photo beams) are installed, one across each side of the gate opening.
____ Contact sensors (safety edges) are installed and are functional at all hazard or pinch points.
____ Hard wired contact sensors are located and wired to avoid any mechanical damage.
____ All controls intended to reset the gate opener after an obstruction are installed in sight of gate.
____ Customer has read all the instructions and is clear on the proper use of the gate operator.
____ Customer understands proper use of all control devices used with the gate opener.
____ Customer understands that this gate is for vehicular use ONLY. Pedestrians MUST NOT use this gate.
____ A separate gate or entrance is installed for pedestrian use (if pedestrian access is desired).
____ Closed position stop plate is securely fastened.
____ The position of the post bracket assembly complies with the 4

/2" x 4

/2" setback requirement.
____ All power cables, receiver cables, and transformer plugs are securely fastened.
____ Petroleum jelly is applied to the control board terminals and battery connections.
____ Safety instructions are reviewed and understood by the customer.
____ Customer and authorized users understand how to disconnect the operator for manual operation of the gate.
____ Customer has filled out the customer support card and mailed it to GTO, Inc.
____ Customer is reminded to retain all receipts of Mighty Mule purchase (receipts mandatory for warranty repairs).
____ The completed installation should be photographed from both the front and back of the gate. Photo was dated.
