STEP V – ATTACHING HITCH AND SAFETY CHAINS TO TOW TONGUE – HIGHWAY TOWABLE MODEL
1. Slide the hitch (#50) over the end of the tow tongue (#52).
2. Secure the hitch to the tow tongue with two ½-13 x 3” HHCS (#65) and two ½-13 gripco locknuts (#51).
3. Take the 3/8-16 x 3 ½” HHCS (#64) and put a 3/8 washer (#53) and one of the safety chains (#63) on the bolt.
Put the bolt through the tow tongue, add the other safety chain to the bolt and secure with a 3/8 flat washer and
a 3/8-16 nylock nut (#35).
STEP VI – ATTACHING TOW TONGUE TO MACHINE - HIGHWAY TOWABLE MODEL
1. Put tow tongue in place on top of axle and secure with 5/8-11 x 3 ½” HHCS (#60) and 5/8-11 nylock nut (#61).
