STEP I – UNPACKING AND CHECKING CONTENTS
1. Remove all items from the crate.
2. After unpacking the crate, compare the contents with the list above.
3. If any parts are missing, contact your place of purchase at once.
4. Assembly should be done on a clean, level surface.
STEP II – INSTALLING THE CHIPPER HOPPER – HIGHWAY AND NON-HIGHWAY MODELS
1. Attach the chipper hopper to the basic machine with four 5/16-18 carriage bolts (#10), flat washers (#11) and
nylock nuts (#12). Put the bolts through the hopper from inside and secure with the flatwashers and the nylock
nuts. Secure tightly.
2. During attachment of the hopper to the machine, adjust the hopper up or down to achieve a smooth transition
between the hopper and the chute on the machine. If the hopper slips too low, branches can hit the chute,
preventing proper feeding.
