Cleaning the drum
(hygiene info)
Washing at low temperatures and/or
using liquid detergent can cause
bacteria and unpleasant odors to build
up in the washing machine. Use the
Clean Machine program to clean the
washing machine. Run this program
regularly or at the latest when the
Hygiene info: Select “Maintenance” and run
the “Clean Machine” program.message
appears in the display.
TwinDos maintenance
Damage resulting from dried
laundry detergent.
If the system has not been used for a
long time (more than 2months),
detergent in the hoses can become
viscous or dry out. The hoses can
become blocked and would then
need to be cleaned by Customer
Service.
Clean the TwinDos system.
To clean the system, you need a
“TwinDosCare” cleaning cartridge,
which is available
from www.shop.miele.com.
The washing machine has a cleaning
program for the TwinDos system.
Running the cleaning program will clean
the hoses inside the washing machine.
Starting the maintenance program
Switch on the washing machine.
Scroll to the second page in the main
menu.
Touch the Maintenancesensor button.
The display will then change to show
the Maintenance menu.
Select Clean “TwinDos”.
Touch the sensor button for the
container you want to clean.
Confirm Start the Maintenance program?
with the Yessensor button.
Follow the instructions in the display.
The hoses will now be cleaned. The
TwinDos system can be used again at
any time.
Cleaning the removable
compartment
Detergent residue can cause clogging.
Use a damp cloth to clean the
compartment interior when you
change the cartridges or container.
