3. Removing the shipping
struts
Damage resulting from failure to
remove the shipping struts.
Failure to remove the shipping struts
can result in damage to the washing
machine and to adjacent cabinetry or
appliances.
Remove the shipping struts as
described in “Installation and
connection”.
The following message appears in the
display:

Confirm with the OK sensor button.
4. Commissioning TwinDos
The UltraPhase1 and UltraPhase2
values are pre-set in the standard
settings and only need to be confirmed.

Set now
To set up TwinDos now, touch the
OKsensor button.
To postpone setup: touch the
sensor button until the following
appears in the display: Set up later and
press the OKbutton to confirm.
Determining the water hardness
Water hardness is an indication of the
amount of minerals dissolved in water.
The more minerals in the water, the
higher the water hardness and more
detergent must be dispensed.
Tip: You can measure the water
hardness yourself using the enclosed
test strip. Alternatively, your local water
authority will be able to tell you the
hardness of water in your area.
Dip the test strip in the water for
approx. 1second. Shake excess
water off the test strip.
After approx. 1minute, and based on
the coloration, you will be able to read
the water hardness from the table
below.
