The door will not open
Problem Possible cause and remedy
The door cannot be
opened while a
programme is running.
The door is locked during a programme.
Follow the instructions in “Washing – 6. Starting a
programme“.
There is still water in the drum and the washer-dryer
is unable to drain.
Clean the drain filter and the drain pump as
described in “Opening the door in the event of a
blocked drain outlet and/or power cut”.
The water level in the drum is too high.
Cancel the programme. The water will be pumped
away.
At the end of the
programme or after a
programme
cancellation:
Extra cooling appears in
the display.
For safety reasons, the door cannot be opened if the
temperature in the drum exceeds 55°C during
washing or 70°C during drying.
Wait until the temperature in the drum has
decreased and the message has gone out in the
display.
The following appears
in the display:
The door lock is jammed.
