General problems with the washer-dryer
Problem Possible cause and remedy
Foam comes out of the
detergent dispenser
drawer while the Rinse
out fluff programme is
running.
There is residual detergent from the last programme
in the suds container.
Make sure you always dispense the correct
amount of detergent. For precise dispensing, use
automatic detergent dispensing.
There is foam in the
drum at the end of the
Rinse out fluff
programme.
The Rinse out fluff programme also rinses out
residual detergent from the suds container. This can
lead to the formation of foam.
Run the Rinse out fluff programme regularly to
prevent detergent residues from accumulating in
the suds container.
There is still fluff in the
drum after the end of
the Rinse out fluff
programme.
You have not run the Rinse out fluff programme for a
long time.
Remove the fluff from the drum.
Run the Rinse out fluff programme on a regular
basis.
The washer-dryer
smells.
The Hygiene info was ignored. A programme using a
temperature above 60°C has not been run for a long
time.
In order to prevent bacteria and unpleasant odours
building up in the machine, run the Clean machine
programme using the Miele machine cleaner or
powder detergent.
The detergent dispenser drawer was left closed after
washing.
Leave the detergent dispenser drawer slightly
open to allow it to dry.
