Clean machine
With frequent washing at low
temperatures there is a danger of a
build-up of bacteria in the washer-dryer.
Cleaning the washer-dryer will
significantly reduce bacteria, mould and
biofilm and prevent the build-up of
unpleasant odours.
Start the Clean machine programme at
the latest when the Hygiene info
message appears in the display.
Useful tip: Optimum results can be
achieved by using the Miele
IntenseClean machine cleaner.
Alternatively, a universal powder
detergent can be used.
Starting a programme
Select Clean machine.
Dispense the machine cleaner or
universal detergent directly in the
drum.
Do not load any laundry. The drum
must be empty for the cleaning
process.
Touch the Start/Stop sensor.
The programme will start.
Rinse out fluff
During drying, fluff is developed and
can collect in the drum and suds
container. Run the Rinse out fluff
programme before the machine is used
again so that fluff cannot be deposited
on the next load or cause a blockage.
The Rinse out fluff programme must
not be used for rinsing laundry.
Ensure there are no items of laundry
in the drum before starting the
programme.
Starting a programme
Select Rinse out fluff.
Do not use detergent.
Touch the Start/Stopsensor.
Any fluff will be rinsed away within a
few minutes.
If necessary wipe any remaining fluff
off the door seal and door glass.
Switch the washer-dryer off.
