Installation requirements
Low water pressure
If the water pressure is below 100 kPa
(1 bar), the washer-dryer will stop the
programme and a water intake fault
message will appear.
If the on-site water pressure cannot be
increased and the water pressure is
constantly low, activating this setting
will prevent the programme from being
cancelled.
Factory default setting: Low water
pressure is switched off.
Suds cooling
Additional water flows into the drum at
the end of the main wash to cool the
suds down. Hot suds can damage
plastic drainage pipes.
Suds cooling takes place when a
Cottons programme with a temperature
of 70°C or higher is selected.
Activate suds cooling:
- to prevent the danger of scalding if
the drain hose is hooked over the
edge of a sink or laundry tub.
- where the drainage pipes are rated
less than 70°C.
Factory default setting: Suds cooling is
switched off.
Temperature reduction
At high altitudes water has a lower
boiling point. Miele recommends
activating the reduced temperature
setting at altitudes of 2000m or above
to prevent water from boiling. The
maximum temperature is reduced to
80°C even if a higher temperature is
selected.
Factory default setting: the reduce
temperature setting is switched off.
