The setting is only visible if
Miele@home is set up.
The Wi-Fi function is deactivated and
the Wi-Fi connection will be reset to
the factory default.
The network configuration should be
reset whenever the washer-dryer is
being disposed of or sold, or if a used
washer-dryer is being put into
operation. This is the only way to
ensure that all personal data has been
removed and, in the case of the latter,
the previous owner will no longer be
able to access the appliance.
A new connection set-up has to be
carried out in order to use Miele@home
again.
Remote control
The Remote control setting (available
depending on country) is only visible if
the Miele@home setting is set up and
activated.
If the Miele App has been installed on
your mobile device, you can check the
status of your washer-dryer from
anywhere and start it remotely.
You can also operate your washer-
dryer remotely with the MobileStart
programme.
You can switch off the Remote control
setting if you do not want to operate the
washer-dryer with your mobile device.
If Remote control is not switched on the
App can cause the programme to be
cancelled.
Use the Timer sensor to set a time by
when you want to start the washer-
dryer (see "Timer/SmartStart").
The washer-dryer will then start within
the specified timeframe when it receives
your signal.
If it has not received a start signal by
the latest start time set, the washer-
dryer will start automatically.
Remote control is switched off by
default.
SmartGrid
The SmartGrid setting (available
depending on country) is only visible if
the Miele@home setting is set up and
activated.
This function can be used for starting
your washer-dryer automatically at a
time when energy costs are more
economical.
Activating SmartGrid gives the Timer
sensor a new function.
Set SmartStart by using the Timer
sensor (see "Timer/SmartStart").
The washer-dryer will then start within
the timeframe specified when it receives
a signal from the energy supplier.
If a signal has not been received from
the energy supplier by the latest start
time set, the washer-dryer will start
automatically.
The SmartGridfunction is switched off in
the factory default setting.
Remote Update
The Remote Updatemenu option is
only displayed and can only be
selected if the requirements for using
Miele@home have been met (see
"Before the first use – Miele@home").
