This washer-dryer is supplied with a special lamp to cope with
particular conditions (e.g. temperature, moisture, chemical
resistance, abrasion resistance and vibration). This lamp must only
be used for the purpose for which it is intended. The lamp is not
suitable for room lighting. Replacement lamps may only be fitted by
a qualified electrician or a Miele authorised technician.
The electrical plug must be easily accessible after installation so
that the washer-dryer can be disconnected from the electricity
supply if necessary.
In the event of a fault or for cleaning purposes, the washer-dryer
must be disconnected from the mains electricity supply. It is only
completely isolated from the electricity supply when:
- switched off at the wall socket and the power plug is withdrawn
from the socket
- the mains circuit breaker has been switched off, or
- the screw-out fuse is removed (in countries where this is
applicable).
The Miele water protection system protects from water damage
provided the following conditions are met:
- The machine is correctly plumbed in and connected to the
electricity supply.
- If a fault or damage has been identified, the washer-dryer must be
repaired by a competent person before further use.
The machine must only be connected to the on-site water supply
using a new hose kit. Old hose kits must not be re-used. Check the
condition of the hoses regularly so that you can replace them in
good time and avoid the risk of any water damage.
The water inlet pressure must be at least 100kPa and must not
exceed 1000kPa.
