Suds cooling
Additional water flows into the drum at
the end of the main wash to cool the
suds down.
Suds cooling takes place when a pro-
gram with a temperature of 158°F
(70°C) or higher is selected.
Suds cooling should be activated:
- To prevent the danger of scalding if
the drain hose is hooked over the
edge of a sink or basin.
- Where the drainage pipes do not
comply with DIN1986.
Factory default: On
Water intake
Pre-wash
You can select the water type for the
pre-wash.
- Cold
Only cold water is used for the pre-
wash.
- Hot
Hot water is also added for the pre-
wash.
Hot water can only be added if the
wash temperature is above 86°F
(30°C).
Main wash
You can select the water type for the
main wash.
- Cold
Only cold water is used for the main
wash.
- Hot
Hot water is also added for the main
wash.
Hot water can only be added if the
wash temperature is above 86°F
(30°C).
Program cycle times will be longer if the
machine is not connected for hot water;
this may mean that the “Time left” dis-
play is incorrect.
First rinse
You can select the water type for the
first rinse in some programs.
- Cold (factory default)
Only cold water is used for the first
rinse.
- Hot
Hot water is also added for the first
rinse.
Final rinse
You can select the water type for the
last rinse in some programs.
- Cold (factory default)
Only cold water is used for the final
rinse.
- Hot
Hot water is also added for the final
rinse (only possible for programs with
a temperature of at least
140°F/60°C).
