The hob has to be switched on if you
wish t
o use the timer.
You can set a time between 1 minute
() and 9 hours (.).
The timer can be used for two different
functions:
– to set the minute minder
– to set a cooking zone to switch off
aut
omatically.
A time up to 99 minutes can be set and
displayed in minut
es.
To set a time of more than 99 minutes,
the timer must be switched t
o hours (h).
The time is set in half-hour steps. Half-
hours are indicated by a dot following
the number, for example, 2 h 30 min:

Example: You want to set a time of 15

e sure the hob is switched on.

ouch the  sensor.
The  sensor flashes.  appears in
the timer display, and the right  flash‐
es.
Enter the tens first and then the units.
 T
ouch the number sensor which cor‐
responds to the tens position (1 in
this case).
The timer display will change and  will
star
t flashing on the right hand side.
 T
ouch the number sensor which cor‐
responds to the units position (5 in
this case).
The timer display will change. The 
moves t
o the left and  appears on the
right.
After several seconds, the  sensor
and the timer display will light up con‐
stantly
. The timer starts to count down.
