Operating and Installation Instructions

This appliance must not be installed and operated in mobile
installations (e.g. on a ship).

A damaged appliance is dangerous. Check it for any visible
damage. Never install or attempt to use a damaged appliance.

For safety reasons, this appliance may only be used when it has
been fully installed.
~
During installation, maintenance and repair work, and installation
work on the mains water connection, the appliance must be
disconnected from the mains electricity supply. It is only completely
isolated from the electricity supply when:
– the mains fuse has been disconnected, or
– the screw-out fuse is removed (in countries where this is
applicable), or
– it is switched off at the wall socket and the plug is withdrawn from
the socket, or it is switched off at the isolator.

Repairs and other work by unqualified persons, as well as a faulty
mains water connection, could be dangerous. Installation,
maintenance work and repairs, including installation work on the
mains water connection and repairs to the ice dispenser, must only
be carried out by a Miele approved service technician.

The ice cube maker is not suitable for connection to a hot water
supply.
~
Connect the appliance to a potable water supply only.
