Defrosting large quantities
of food at once, e.g. 2 kg
fish
The glass tray can be used on shelf level 1 for
defr
osting food.
Reheating food Always cover food when reheating it, except when
r
eheating meat/fish coated in breadcrumbs.
Cooking vegetables Add a little water to vegetables which have been
k
ept stored. Vegetable cooking times depend on the
texture of the vegetable. Fresh vegetables contain
more water than vegetables which have been stored
and usually cook more quickly.
Cooking frozen ready-
meals
Deep-frozen, ready-made meals can be defrosted
and then reheated or cooked in one process. Follow
the instructions on the packet.

ake note of the recommended microwave power levels, durations and standing
times. These take the consistency, the quantity and the initial temperature of the
food into account.
Y
ou are generally advised to select the middle duration.
Place
the food on the glass tray and use shelf level 1.
