Your oven has a range of oven functions for preparing food.
Functions which do not use microwave energy

Grill
For grilling thin cuts (e.g. steaks) and browning

ed dishes. The entire top heat / grill element
glows red to produce the required infra-red
radiation. The temperature is fixed in this
function and cannot be altered.
Defrost
The fan circulates air around the oven cavity at
room temperature to gently defrost frozen food.
Rapid heat-up
For pre-heating the oven quickly. The oven

unction required must then be selected.

Fan plus
This function is used for baking and roasting on
diff
erent levels at the same time. A lower
temperature can be selected than when using
Conventional heat , as the fan distributes the
heat to the food straight away.

Fan grill
For grilling thicker cuts of meat (e.g. chicken).
