Automatic dispensing/AutoDos
Before you can use AutoDos, you must
insert a PowerDisk containing powder
detergent into the PowerDisk compart-
ment.
One PowerDisk contains enough deter-
gent for approx. 20rinse cycles, de-
pending on the chosen program.
PowerDisks are available to order di-
rectly from Miele’s online store, Miele
Customer Service, or from your Miele
dealer.
Risk of chemical burns from
residual detergent.
Detergents have a caustic effect.
This can cause health problems and
damage to surfaces. If the AutoDos
is used incorrectly or leaks, residual
detergent may drip onto the floor
area in front of the dishwasher.
Always remove residual detergent
from in front of the dishwasher im-
mediately.
Activating AutoDos
Turn the dishwasher on using the
sensor button.
Before you first use AutoDos, remove
the transport lock from the PowerDisk
compartment and dispose of it ap-
propriately.
Insert a PowerDisk (see “Inserting a
PowerDisk” under “Automatic dis-
pensing/AutoDos”).
The AutoDos function will be activated
automatically.
This setting applies to all programs and
you can change it in a program's Op-
tions menu.
If no program is started for 48hours,
the PowerDisk will automatically be ro-
tated so that the detergent does not
clump together. If this happens, the
message Powder refresh in progress will
be shown in the display when the
dishwasher is turned on. No detergent
will be dispensed.
