Water filter (IntensiveClear 2.0 char-
coal filter)
The IntensiveClear 2.0 charcoal filter,
which is already installed in the refriger-
ation appliance, improves the taste and
smell of the ice cubes by removing
chlorine and other substances from
supply water.
However, to ensure the highest quality
of the ice cubes, it is essential to
change the water filter (IntensiveClear
2.0 charcoal filter) regularly.
Optional accessories
A range of useful Miele accessories and
care products are available for your ap-
pliance.
Water filter (IntensiveClear 2.0 mesh
filter)
The IntensiveClear 2.0 mesh filter filters
supply water for making ice cubes.
If an external water filter is attached to
your household water supply, you can
use an IntensiveClear 2.0 mesh filter in
place of an IntensiveClear 2.0 charcoal
filter.
Unlike the IntensiveClear 2.0 charcoal
filter, the IntensiveClear 2.0 mesh filter
does not need to be replaced, just
cleaned.

Stainless steel front panel
Stainless steel front panels give your re-
frigeration appliance a high-quality ap-
pearance.
Handles and toe-kick panels are also
available in a stainless steel look.
Metal filler panel for inset fronts
If you wish to install two cabinet fronts
next to each other instead of one cabi-
net front, they will have to be connected
with a metal filler panel.
Side-by-side installation kit
To install two or more refrigeration ap-
pliances next to one another, you will
need the side-by-side installation kit
(see “Installation – Side-by-side”).
Hinge pocket
If the door hinging needs to be changed
on your refrigeration appliance, the up-
per toe-kick ventilation grille must be
converted. A new hinge pocket is re-
quired in order to do this.
The door hinging must only be replaced
by Miele Technical Service.
